A Spirited Evening with the “Watergate Girl”
Last night’s Chicago Salon was one for the books! We had the absolute pleasure of hosting the remarkable Jill Wine-Banks—famously known as the “Watergate Girl.” With more than 30 guests gathered in a lively and welcoming setting, Jill spent nearly two hours answering thoughtful (and sometimes fiery!) questions on everything from the state of today’s politics to behind-the-scenes insights from the Watergate investigation.
We also dove into her work as a co-host of the popular Sisters-in-Law podcast, her thoughts on the future of democracy, and the importance of education and civic engagement. The crowd was the perfect mix—intelligent, curious, and wonderfully social. There was no shortage of great conversation, great food, and meaningful connections.
