Epilepsy – Up Close and Personal

Epilepsy – Up Close and Personal

Miguel Cervantes, currently starring in the lead role of Hamilton, his wife, Kelly, and Susan Axelrod, the founder of Cure—Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy  will lead a discussion on Monday evening, October 30, at 7:00PM. A confirmed invitation is REQUIRED for admission.

This will be an exciting evening of conversation and discussion about epilepsy—the fourth most common neurological disorder characterized by unpredictable seizures, related health problems, the wide range of seizure types and methods of control, and general public misunderstandings of its causes and challenges—which can be as destructive as the disease itself.

Miguel, Kelly and Susan will tell their personal stories—up close and personal—about the disorder and its effects not only on the individual affected, but their families as well. And they will tell you what you can do to support this effort.

Here is a video that is “up close and personal” – and from the heart.
